Musing Beginnings

I have finally started working out. WOOOO HOOO. It took me over a year to get back into a routine but I'm doing it and I feel good. I decided that the best way to get into it was just to start (having a clean room has definitely helped) and not look back. I've noticed that I've started so many fitness regimes that the best thing for me is to not beat myself up if I miss a workout. Missing a workout has been the key to derailing my fitness goals and I know that if I miss one and keep putting it off nothing will change. I'm ready to commit to something plus I have a goal date to help motivate me to keep working out. I've decided to track my progress and helps keep tabs and what I should and shouldn't be doing.

Story so far...... After realizing a big event is coming up in which all of my friends (some of which are ones I haven't seen in a while) I wanted to change my body and my health. I started working out to yourself fitness about two weeks ago and have now started both the seventeen 6 week makeover and jillians 30 day shred.

The Plan

Jillian 30 day shred 5 days a week
Yourself fitness: 5 days a week.
Seventeen on designated days.
Yoga: Cool down everyday

Time:
When I wake up after breakfast or whenever I have time.

Nutrition:
This is the hard part. I can stick to a fitness plan much better then I can stick to a diet but I have to stop thinking of it as a diet.
I just have to follow some basic tips.

*Eat smaller portions.
*Be more aware of when I'm hungery
* Don't just eat it cause it's there
*DRINK WATER, replace juice with water and sip throughout the day.
*Reward myself. If I feel deprived chances are i'm going to binge on junk food. Allow myself some
sweets.

To help with nutrition I've started a calorie counter here. Hopefully my obsessive compulsive need will make me update it regularly.
